About the new board of 4Sight Holdings
Marichen Mortimer, B.Soc. Sciences, Master of Business Leadership (MBL), Chartered Director (SA). Her company provides leadership and advisory services. In the past she has held senior management positions at SAP, RMP Properties, Rand Mines Properties and Barlows Equipment Manufacturing. In addition, she has held directorships at the Institute of Directors Southern Africa, Zendegis (Pty) Ltd and Leela Leadership Consultants (Pty) Ltd.
Jacob Stefanus Johannnes Nel, B.Com (Accounting); B.Com (Accounting) Honours; Certificate in the Theory of Accounting Sciences (CTA) CA (SA). Now retired, he was most recently the CEO of Lemas Financial Services. Previous experience includes eight years on the executive management team at the University of Pretoria and 12 years at Coopers & Lybrand as a partner. He has vast business experience as well as experience in the fields of financial, risk and investment management and has served on various boards of directors, boards of trustees, audit- and investment committees.
Christopher Crowe, Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors; Harvard Business School (Transforming a Global Company Program). A professional executive with more than 30-years of experience in senior management roles in Australia and internationally. He currently holds the position of Principle and Director at The Buro (an Australian advisory firm), and has held senior positions at Enware Australia, Corethix, StartWare Global, Thales Australia and Schneider Electric.
Andrew Murgatroyd, Bachelor of Accounting Science; Higher Diploma in Accounting, CA (SA). He is an experienced investor with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. Currently the CEO of retail and customer engagement platform, Topshopper, he has also held senior financial and managerial positions at Naspers (Dubizzle Ltd, Multichoice Africa, Multichoice Botswana); Vodacom Worldonline (ISP); Cargill and Coin security Group.
Hemmanth (Herman) Singh, B.Sc (Mech) Eng; Post Graduate qualification in Industrial Engineering; MBA. Over the past 30 years, Mr Singh has held senior posts across the consulting, advisory, industrial, finance services and telecoms sectors. His focus areas have been on creating digital means for customers to interact via new channels and devices, digitising the internal processes and creating digitised products and services and disruptive business models. He is currently the CEO and founder of Future Advisory. In the course of a distinguished career, he has served as Group Chief Marketing Officer at MTN Group; Managing Executive (Mobile commerce) at Vodacom and CEO: Beyond Payments at Standard Bank. He has held numerous board memberships and directorships at companies including Adcorp Holdings, various MTN OpCos and Jumia Group. He has served as an external examiner and facilitator for Wits Business School’s MBA programme, non-degree and in-company programmes for 13 years. He continues to serve as adjunct faculty at Duke University in Durham, Raleigh, North Carolina and at The Gordon Institute of Business Science in Johannesburg.
Tertius Emil Zitzke, University of Pretoria Graduate School Programme, Management Development Programme. With over 31 years’ experience as a business leader in the information and communication technology sector, he co-founded AccTech Systems Proprietary Limited (“AccTech”) in 1994 and has been instrumental in building AccTech and Dynamics Africa Proprietary Limited into an international ICT business as well as the leading Microsoft and Sage business partner globally, focusing on Industry 4.0 solutions in the new economy.
Eric van der Merwe, B.Com Financial Management, B.Com (Hons) Financial Management. After completing his articles, Mr. van der Merwe has held positions at Saambou Bank and the Trans Caledon Tunnel Authority, initially as a management accountant and subsequently as acting financial controller. He has served as the Chief Financial Officer of AccTech and Dynamics Africa Services Proprietary Limited since June 2008.
