For the fifth year in a row, Careers24 is partnering with the Future of HR Summit and Awards as headline sponsor. This important industry event will bring together CEOs, HR leaders and HR tech innovators from across southern Africa from 12 to 13 June 2019 at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
The Summit features industry thought leaders and solution providers, from the likes of Google, Mercer, Old Mutual and Discovery, who will be showcasing ways to build a digitally successful future, while emphasizing the human side of HR.
“There are many conferences focusing on the hyper-digitised future, but they are doing it in a way that HR practitioners are finding too far removed from the current daily work to be practically useful.” said Ralf Fletcher, CEO of the organising company Topco Media, “That is why this year’s Future of HR Summit is carefully put together to tangibly focus on the very near future, unpacking the latest implications of digital disruption in the industry and the changing job descriptions of HR professionals.”
Industry experts will cover topics such as automated recruitment, intuitive online employee engagement, multi-country e-learning, data analytics, employee assistance programmes and other aspects of human capital management at all levels.
This year Simplify will be exhibiting at the event for the first time. The new brand is the result of an evolving suite of recruitment management services, which incorporates the trusted Careers24 brand. “Following the success of our Simplify Applicant Tracking System, we are looking forward to introducing our complete Recruitment Management System to the market,” said Simplify Head of Sales, Henneri Crous, who will be one of the speakers at the event. “We, for example, have the only solution built for the South African market, which is tailored for both in-house recruiters and recruitment agencies as part of our goal to continue finding innovative ways to help our clients simplify their recruitment.”
“New technology can play a powerful role in enabling the humanising of HR functions, rather than limiting it, which is something we want to emphasise throughout this stimulating two-day event,” Fletcher added.
