Did you know that Cornubia Mall’s BOUNCE venue is home to South Africa’s biggest trampoline – a 5 metre x 5 metre monster that is like jumping around on the moon?
According to Nicolle Weir, owner of BOUNCE, not enough people in KwaZulu-Natal are aware of just how amazing the BOUNCE offering is, and the fact that we are located right on their door step at the Cornubia Mall near Mt Edgecombe.
Having spread across the globe since 2012, BOUNCE is KZN’s very first BOUNCE indoor trampoline park, and the venue is an adrenaline-filled playground offering around 3,000 square meters of interconnected trampolines, adventure features, padding and airbags.
Like all BOUNCE trampoline centres, Cornubia has an awesome Free-Jump Arena, trampoline Slam Dunk, Big Bag, Dodgeball and Wall tramps in the Performance area. In addition to all of these epic areas, Cornubia features a first of its kind Adventure Challenge Course called X-Park. Here, BOUNCE combines elements of climbing, jumping and free-running before zipping on the aerial runway to the finish line!
That’s why, Weir says, this makes for great fun and improved health for all ages and is perfect for whole families as it offers a fun work out for everyone at the same time. “It’s all about free-style fun, movement, self-expression and of course, human connection.”
“The rush of BOUNCE is infectious. Look around and everyone’s buzzing, whether they’re running up The Wall, launching into the Big Bag or loosening up in the Free-Jump Arena. It can be as easy or as challenging as you like and adds up to having a great cardio workout without even realising it!” she explains.
BOUNCE’s rapidly growing customer base ranges from pre-schoolers, school groups and teenagers, to elite athletes, fitness class enthusiasts and corporate groups.
It is the ultimate fun way to disconnect from the tech that keeps us sedentary and unsociable as well as a perfect opportunity for families that often rush through each day doing things separately to come together to have fun and improve their fitness.
“We want to get people active and take their focus off televisions, computers, smartphones and gaming devices – if but for an hour – so people can have fun while they exercise, socialize and get their fair share of activity induced endorphins,” she says.
Most importantly, BOUNCE is both fun and safe. The facility is well manned to ensure that all jumpers stick to the rules – only one person is allowed on each trampoline, double bouncing is a no go and grip socks have to be worn for better safety and hygiene reasons.
To make BOUNCE appealing to families who are having to stretch their budgets for family entertainment ever wider, BOUNCE recently introduced its Unlimited Pass exclusive to KZN which will take virtually endless freestyle fun to the next level.
