Over the past 15 years, the Mr, Miss and Miss Junior uShaka Marine World pageant, this year, proudly supported by Ola and Star Hire has and continues to be a fantastic platform for past winners to go on to even better ventures including winning prestigious titles as well as creating successful careers.
Judges at this year’s event were, Andre B van Wyk, a former Mr. SA and Marketing Manager at Coastlands, Bongani Mthiyane, the CEO of Beyond Borders advertising agency, Terence Pillay of PillayMedia, and Mantombi Tofile – Brand Manager at uShaka Marine World.
The judges marking criteria included a number of categories from strong leadership abilities, ambassadorial skills, personality and overall appearance. An all-round 10 was required for the ultimate winner, and while the judges decided on the respective winners, Ocean Warrior mascots entertained the crowds.
They each received cash prizes as well look forward to be included in uShaka Marine World’s advertising campaigns and selected events during their upcoming reign.
