Following the successful debut of his EP Ubizo, Ethno World Music musician Nkonzo is set to deliver his first-ever live concert experience in Johannesburg at Untitled Basement in Braamfontein on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
This highly anticipated performance is the first opportunity for fans and music lovers to experience Nkonzo’s powerful and deeply spiritual music in a live setting. Known for his captivating voice, which carries the weight of his Bhaca heritage, Nkonzo promises to sweep the audience into a whirlwind of carefully constructed ethno-world sounds will be supported by Ushuni Womhlaba Season 1 Winner and SAMA Nominee, Joliza Bhacasoul.
The concert will showcase tracks from the acclaimed EP, Ubizo including the emotionally charged single “Akvumi” and the spirited, cultural anthem “Bagxuma.” The performance is expected to be as moving as his recent listening session, where Nkonzo mesmerised guests and elicited comparisons to the “nostalgia” of icons like Thandiswa Mazwai.
