Both a long-awaited body of work and a testament to his deep respect for global music culture, Nomad marks a new chapter in his artistic journey. First announced at his historic, sold-out solo show at Stade de France, the first ever by an electronic music artist, the album captures DJ Snake\u2019s evolution from a young Parisian producer into a defining force in contemporary music. Across its diverse tracklist, \u201cNomad\u201d seamlessly fuses sounds from reggaeton, Middle Eastern street music, and baile funk, reflecting the boundless creativity and cultural diversity that define his sound.<\/p>\n<p>DJ Snake comments on the 17-track new album: \u201cI grew up surrounded by people from India, the Caribbean, Africa, and the Middle East. That mix shaped everything I heard. \u201cNomad\u201d is a tribute to that upbringing\u2026 always moving, always learning, always blending what the world has to offer. \u201cNomad\u201d goes beyond an album tracklist. It&#8217;s a cultural statement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last week, DJ Snake surprised fans worldwide with the announcement of his collaboration with Stray Kids on \u201cIn The Dark,\u201d marking the first-ever partnership between the global DJ and the K-pop powerhouse. Out today, the track merges Stray Kids\u2019 explosive energy with DJ Snake\u2019s genre-blending production, uniting Eastern and Western music influences in a powerful cross-cultural moment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe met last year at the 2024 Gala des Pieces Jaunes in Paris. We immediately knew there was more to come\u2026 I\u2019ve always been amazed with the K-Pop scene, so to now collaborate with these guys who have had such an impact on this genre is an honour.\u201d Says DJ Snake about \u201cIn The Dark\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alongside Stray Kids, \u201cNomad\u201d introduces several first-time collaborations for DJ Snake, including Grammy-nominated Afro-house artist Bantu on \u201cCompany,\u201d reggae icon Damian \u201cJr. Gong\u201d Marley on \u201cBam Bam,\u201d and the debut of DJ Snake\u2019s bass-driven alter ego The Outlaw on \u201cFinal Fantasy.\u201d Fans also finally gain access to highly anticipated new music through \u201cTsunami\u201d with Future and Travis Scott; a nod to Snake\u2019s deep hip-hop roots, alongside solo cuts \u201cNomad,\u201d \u201cMonte Carlo,\u201d \u201cCairo Express,\u201d and \u201cKIKI2000,\u201d each revealing a different chapter of his Nomad journey.<\/p>\n<p>\u200b\u200bOver the summer, in the lead-up to \u201cNomad\u201d, DJ Snake unveiled a series of standout singles that set the tone for one of his most profound albums to date. It began in May with \u201cParadise\u201d featuring Bipolar Sunshine, first premiered at his sold-out Stade de France show, a modern reimagining of Phil Collins\u2019s \u201cAnother Day in Paradise.\u201d This was followed by \u201cReloaded\u201d with Space Laces, a gritty electronic weapon that flips Marilyn Manson\u2019s \u201cThis Is the New Sh*t\u201d into pure dancefloor fire.<\/p>\n<p>Then came \u201cPatience,\u201d a deeply personal project featuring his reimagination of Amadou &amp; Mariam\u2019s celebrated 2008 song \u201cSabali,\u201d accompanied by a powerful music video which sheds light on the realities of migration, offering a sensitive and humanizing portrayal of those compelled to leave their homeland in pursuit of a better future.<\/p>\n<p>Summer continued with \u201cNoventa,\u201d a 90\u2019s inspired reggaeton-flavored anthem which effortlessly fuses cultures, genres, and undeniable star power, reuniting Snake with longtime friend and collaborator J Balvin. Rounding out the season, \u201cSomething Wrong\u201d with Don Toliver showcased Snake\u2019s hip-hop roots through Toliver\u2019s unmistakable vocals, while \u201cBring The House Down\u201d with Dillon Francis and TRXGGX reignited the energy of trap, setting the stage for the revival of trap and celebrating the genre\u2019s resurgence.<\/p>\n<p>Over the last decade, DJ Snake has built one of the most globally recognized and far-reaching catalogs in electronic music. From \u201cTurn Down for What\u201d with Lil Jon, to \u201cLean On\u201d with Major Lazer and M\u00d8, (Diamond-certified by the RIAA) to \u201cTaki Taki\u201d with Selena Gomez, Ozuna, and Cardi B, and \u201cLet Me Love You\u201d with Justin Bieber, his work has consistently shaped the sound of international pop. The Parisian artist has earned 50x RIAA certified platinum singles, over thirty billion global streams, and headlined some of the world\u2019s most iconic stages \u2014 including the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, where he became the first artist to perform on its rooftop.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNomad\u201d journeys through musical styles and cultures, blending diverse influences into timeless dancefloor hits with global appeal.
