This August, Shelly Centre is proudly honouring Women\u2019s Month with a heartfelt campaign that puts local heroines at the centre of celebration. The She Inspires campaign is a three-part initiative designed to uplift community voices, support young women in need, and unite customers around stories of strength, compassion, and leadership.<\/p>\n
1. Nominate a Local Woman Who Inspires You<\/strong><\/p>\n From 24 to 31 July 2025, customers are invited to nominate an inspirational woman from the Shelly Beach area. These could be working mothers, selfless sisters, caregivers, or anyone quietly making a difference. Each customer may only nominate one woman, and self-nominations will not be accepted. Nominees must live in close proximity to Shelly Beach and be available to attend the event in person. 2. Attend the \u2018She Inspires\u2019 Panel Event \u2013 9 August 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n On Friday, 9 August 2025, the three selected women will take the stage at Shelly Centre\u2019s Pick n Pay Court for a special panel discussion from 10:00am to 11:00am. They will share their personal stories and experiences, offering inspiration and insight to our customers. 3. Support the Sanitary Pad Drive<\/strong><\/p>\n In line with the campaign\u2019s mission to uplift women, Shelly Centre is also running a sanitary pad donation drive. Customers are encouraged to drop off sanitary pads at the Centre Management Office. \nTo nominate, comment on the pinned \u2018She Inspires\u2019 post on the Shelly Centre Facebook page (https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ShellyCentreKZN), tag your nominee, and share a short motivation explaining why she deserves to be celebrated.<\/p>\n
\nAn internal judging panel will carefully review all submissions and select three inspirational women to speak at the live event. A nomination does not guarantee selection.<\/p>\n
\nAll customers are warmly invited to attend this free event and show their support. The event will be followed by eats and treats, celebrating Women\u2019s Day in true community spirit.<\/p>\n
\nShelly Centre will match all contributions received, helping provide young women in the community with access to essential hygiene products.<\/p>\n
