She missed the event in 2024 as she was preparing for her marathon debut, going on to shatter the National and Sanlam Cape Town Marathon records in October 2024 with an impressive time of 2 hours, 22 minutes, and 22 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>When asked what attracts her to the Boxer Super Run, \u201cSupercharger,\u201d as she is affectionately known, replied that it\u2019s the vibe on race day as well as the organisation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI missed out on the 2024 race because I was training for my marathon debut and aiming for the SA record, which God blessed me with,\u201d says a very happy Xaba. \u201cThis year at the Boxer Super Run in Durban, I just want to enjoy myself and see what my legs can do. The 5km distance is special because it\u2019s all about speed from the first kilometre to the finish. I look forward to running against training partners like Karabo More.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Karabo Motsoeneng will make her Durban debut in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Boxer Super Run is a great opportunity for people to have fun while showcasing their talents,\u201d says Motsoeneng. \u201cThe 5km distance is short but fast. My goal is to run a PB on the day. I\u2019m looking forward to seeing the elite runners break records and set new PBs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Carina Swiegers had such a great time at the 2024 event that she is returning in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Boxer Super Run is just a quick and fun day out for family and friends,\u201d says Swiegers. \u201cIt\u2019s something different from the usual 10km or 21.1km road races, and the vibe and organisation are top class. I absolutely love it. It\u2019s just long enough but also short enough to run really fast.
