By helping users quickly navigate content and allowing search engines to better understand page hierarchy, a TOC can result in increased click-through rates, higher rankings, and a greater chance of appearing in features like AI Overviews or featured snippets.\u201d See also screenshot below.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_Does_MyPR_Accomplish_This\"><\/span>How Does MyPR Accomplish This?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Simply put, through use of Heading Tags (H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6).<\/p>\n<p>Your heading tags are a signal to indexing bots (Search Engines, AI etc.) of the decreasing importance of each heading \u2013 with H1 being most important and biggest and then cascading down to H6).<\/p>\n<p>As an example \u2013 in this article you are reading we encapsulated each heading in Heading tags \u2013 H3 is just the right size and bold to trigger the Table of Contents you see above.<\/p>\n<p>The ToC will only be triggered for more than three H tags.<\/p>\n<p>All you need to do to trigger the Table of Contents is to use ONE Header Tag as there are already three H3 headings in each article \u2013 Images, Video and Links.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Can_I_Cascade_my_Table_of_Contents\"><\/span>Can I Cascade my Table of Contents?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The short answer is Yes \u2013 see below for the importance and above for what happens when you \u2018cascade\u2019 your titles.<\/p>\n<p>The title above is an H1 tag.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Header_Two\"><\/span>Header Two:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The title above is an H2 tag.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Header_Three\"><\/span>Header Three:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The title above is an H3 tag.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Header_Four\"><\/span>Header Four:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The title above is an H4 tag.<\/p>\n<h5><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Header_Five\"><\/span>Header Five:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h5>\n<p>The title above is an H5 tag.<\/p>\n<h6><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Header_Six\"><\/span>Header Six:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h6>\n<p>The title above is an H6 tag.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_do_I_%E2%80%98choose_a_Header_Tag\"><\/span>How do I \u2018choose\u2019 a Header Tag?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>If you are using the Rich Text Editor then highlight the title you want as a heading, click on the \u2018Paragraph\u2019 setting in the top left corner of the editor and select your Header \u2013 Please do not select ALL H1 tags. If your selected titles would normally be BOLD only then please select H3 as the Heading title tag.<\/p>\n<p>If you are using the code editor then I shouldn\u2019t have to explain how at all and you could probably give us all a lesson.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Where_will_the_Table_of_Contents_appear\"><\/span>Where will the Table of Contents appear?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>At the top of every article submitted from your Featured Press Release submission page.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Can_You_Expect\"><\/span>What Can You Expect?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Suffice to say \u2013 a higher probability of being cited in an AI Snippet and appearing on the first index pages of the various search engines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>REMEMBER:<\/strong> The possibility of being cited also heavily depends on the title keywords, subject matter and relevance to the paragraph immediately following your title. In other words don\u2019t use a title that says; \u201cWhy MyPR Has Got Your Back\u201d and then talk about the crazy foods you just ate in Outer Mongolia!<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_Do_You_Start_Using_the_ToC\"><\/span>How Do You Start Using the ToC?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Just use Heading Tags (H3) where you would have bolded your press releases and make sure that you use at least one title to trigger it (We have three already in place in every release \u2013 Images, Video, Links).<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"I_Dont_want_to_use_the_Table_of_Contents\"><\/span>I Don\u2019t want to use the Table of Contents<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Then simply OMMIT using any Heading Tags in your featured press release.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Can_I_Close_the_Table_of_Contents\"><\/span>Can I Close the Table of Contents?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Yes, \u2013 click on the menu button to the right of the Table of Contents title.
