Helplink \u2014 the AI-powered platform transforming South Africa\u2019s informal economy is sponsoring four entrepreneurial paddlers from challenging backgrounds to take on the Prescient Freedom Paddle around Robben Island on 27 April 2026, aligning the endurance race with Freedom Day and the island\u2019s powerful legacy of resilience.<\/p>\n

Held in Table Bay, the Prescient Freedom Paddle is one of South Africa\u2019s most recognised ocean events. This year the 27 km race carries added symbolic weight, circling the very place where Nelson Mandela forged the qualities of endurance, discipline and leadership that continue to inspire the nation.<\/p>\n

The Helplink-sponsored team includes Phola Myende, Sibusiso Pheneas (Sosi) Zulu, Sandile Menjenjalo and Andile Mezula \u2014 each from challenging backgrounds yet embody the perseverance and determination needed to overcome adversity and achieve success regardless of their circumstances.<\/p>\n
