DURBAN, South Africa \u2013 This Women\u2019s Day, Brown Sugar Oceans is uniting women from across KwaZulu-Natal through a special brunch celebrating sisterhood, connection and womanhood. Taking place on Sunday, 9 August 2026, the gathering invites women to come together over great food, music and conversation\u2014creating a space where they can network, build new friendships, celebrate one another\u2019s achievements, let loose from the pressures of everyday life and, if they need to, simply vent in the company of women who understand.<\/p>\n

Leading the celebration will be an all-female entertainment line-up featuring DJ LeSoul, Skye Wanda, Cndie Blaq, Panamera and Nomfundo Thangosupreme, with media personality Thobeka Ndwandwe hosting the afternoon. Through music, interactive games and engaging conversations, the programme has been designed to create an atmosphere where women can celebrate one another, share experiences and enjoy an afternoon built around connection, laughter and sisterhood.<\/p>\n

\u201cWomen\u2019s Day is about creating spaces where women can simply be themselves,\u201d says Brown Sugar Oceans General Manager, Wandile Mtshali. \u201cWhether they\u2019re celebrating a personal milestone, catching up with old friends, meeting new people or just taking a break from the demands of everyday life, we want women to leave feeling lighter than when they arrived. Sometimes healing begins with good conversation, shared laughter and being surrounded by women who genuinely support one another.\u201d<\/p>\n

Guests will be welcomed with a signature cocktail before enjoying a specially prepared three-course brunch. The menu includes Pork Croquettes, Poulet Champignons and Boxing Chicken Wings for starters, followed by a choice of Chicken Roll-Up with creamy pasta, seasonal vegetable pasta or Rack of Lamb served with German potatoes and rosemary jus. Dessert includes Tiramisu and Berry Cheesecake before the afternoon transitions into a celebration of music overlooking Durban\u2019s coastline.<\/p>\n

Known for bringing together food, music and culture, Brown Sugar Oceans continues to create experiences that celebrate community. This Women\u2019s Day edition places the spotlight on the women of KwaZulu-Natal, creating a space where conversations flow freely, new friendships are formed and sisterhood takes centre stage.<\/p>\n

The Brown Sugar Oceans Women\u2019s Day Brunch takes place on Sunday, 9 August 2026, from 12:00 to 17:00. Table reservations are R399 per person.<\/p>\n
