Ilanga lase Natal (The Natal Sun or Sun of Natal) is a Zulu-language newspaper, published in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It was the first ever newspaper to be published in the language. It was co-founded in 1903 by John Langalibalele Dube. Among its contributors was Magema Magwaza Fuze.

Ilanga is owned by the investment arm of the Inkatha Freedom Party.

Ilanga was established in 1903, making it the longest standing isiZulu language Newspaper in South Africa, covering over 100 Years of Zulu History and culture.

Ilanga is a 100% black owned, bi-weekly tabloid publication with 212 000 copies per week being distributed primarily in KwaZulu Natal.

ILANGA has a longer shelf life than a daily newspaper with one edition available from (Monday – Wednesday) and the other from (Thursday – Saturday)

Readers therefore have the newspaper in their houses for a few days before the next edition comes out.
