Karien Jonckheere Media: With a background and extensive experience in journalism, I have developed an excellent ability to work to, and meet deadlines. In recent years I have also transferred these skills successfully into the world of media management and PR/Communications, working on the effective marketing and PR campaigns of numerous major international sporting events. I believe my passion for writing is evident in whatever I do, from developing communications strategies to implementing them and also acting as media manager, and I relish the challenge of performing under pressure.

Contracts have included working as International Media Officer for the World Professional Powerboating Association, as well as media consultant for South African Sailing, and writing regularly for NewFrame.com and Team SA magazines. Additional work as writer and producer for SuperSport’s What a Weekend TV show and with Supersport.com as an online sub-editor.
