sayouthfm® hosts an excellent mix of music and talk targeted at the dynamic youth of South Africa.

Presenters are given considerable freedom to play their own choice in music and to talk about whatever issues they feel are relevant. sayouthfm’s format is 60% music and the 40% content is focused on Youth Jobs, Careers and Entrepreneurship Opportunities.

Their primary broadcast language is English, with occasional switches into the presenters’ home languages. Effectively sayouthfm® broadcasts the way people speak, using English as a basic language of communication and slipping into home languages when appropriate.

The station is unique and is the only station primarily targeting the South African youth in all 9 provinces at the same time. This differentiating factor matters as it provides the youth with a platform to express themselves, to engage with each other and interact with the rest of the world. This is done within the context of our mandate to inform, educate and entertain.
