DA Eastern Cape to conduct oversight at Schornville Sewage Plant

Tomorrow, 11 November 2025, the Democratic Alliance (DA) Eastern Cape Provincial Leader, Andrew Whitfield MP, will lead an oversight inspection at the Schornville Sewage Treatment Plant in Qonce.

Whitfield will be joined by Buffalo City Constituency Leader, Leander Kruger MPL, Buffalo City Caucus Leader, Cllr Sue Bentley, and DA Buffalo City Cllr Terence Fritz.

The DA will announce action steps to mitigate the sewage crisis in Qonce and protect residents and the environment.
