The defending U20 World Rugby Champions are currently in Gqeberha. This, following their title win in Italy last year.
Under head coach Kevin Foote, the team is currently competing in the SANZAAR U20 Rugby Championship before they head to Georgia to defend their global crown in June.
I admit that I missed the opening match against Argentina which the Springboks won 48–21 on 27 April 2026. I have a valid excuse if anyone wants to hear!
By all accounts this Springbok team is on track to win back to back titles as World Champions when they head to they head to Georgia to defend their global crown this June.
