On the 27th of March we published a story concerning alleged corruption in Stellenbosch Municipality (Stellenbosch captured, facing serious financial risk), and in the previous night’s podcast, we discussed many of the contents of said article. Premised upon the basis of the fact that there were numerous factual inaccuracies contained within the podcast content and the written media article, we have decided to unequivocally withdraw both the podcast and the written article, and we tender an irrevocable and unequivocal apology to Gesie van Deventer, Leon Schreiber, Jeremy Fasser and the Democratic Alliance regarding the unfortunate publication of the problematic journalistic pieces which were published on our web platform.
