The second day of the championships saw Argentina vs New Zealand followed by South Africa v Australia.
The Argentinians provided a major upset when the beat New Zealand 25-17 at the Nelson Mandlea Bay Stadium in Gqeberha.
I can still hear those celebrations from their change room next door!
The Springboks ran out deserved 56-17 winners against the All Blacks on the second day of the TRC U20 Championship in the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Gqeberha. Up next is the game against New Zealand on 9 May 2026 – a mere formality after their second win – first against Argentina and today’s against New Zealand.
