This is the last in a serious of three Red Wine Rendezvous featuring a generous 3-course dinner accompanied by a selection of fine Steenberg wines.
For starters, a creamy leek and corn soup sets the tone for a nurturing winter food and wine experience. The main course of slow braised pork belly with pumpkin and smoked onion risotto, glazed carrots and pan fried vegetables, is a slam dunk for a Steenberg red. Dessert is the ultimate winter indulgence – caramelised apple bread and butter pudding with honeycomb ice cream.
