When writing a biography use the following checklist to make sure that you have all the facts:
- Name, Date and Place of Birth
- Date and Place of Death
- Physical Description
- Character / Personality
- Education – Primary, Secondary and Tertiary
- Personal relationships – family, friends, work colleagues, peers
- Award, Honours and Formal Recognition
- Five important dates from subjects life explaining why they are significant
- Major contributions to society
- Three major political or social events that occurred during your subject’s life and why they may have affected your subject
