Cape Marketing Agency delivers measurable results for Atzaró Cape Town through precision-targeted Google Ads campaigns. Atzaró Cape Town has achieved an impressive 564% Return on Google Ad Spend (ROAS) in just nine months, thanks to a highly refined Google Ads strategy implemented by AdsEngine a division of Cape Marketing Agency in the luxury accommodation and travel sector. Running from August 2025 to April 2026, the campaign turned an ad spend of R155,007 into R874,532 in direct bookings, cutting out the industry-standard 20% agency commission typically charged by booking platforms. This result clearly demonstrates how data-driven Google Ads and luxury hospitality marketing can generate tangible, measurable results for boutique hotels and estates seeking more direct reservations. Atzaró Cape Town, a luxury boutique hotel in Oranjezicht, partnered with Cape Marketing Agency to reduce reliance on third-party platforms and increase direct international bookings. The agency crafted a high-intent Google Ads campaign targeting affluent travellers in the USA, UK, and European markets searching for luxury accommodation in Cape Town. “Our strategy was designed to connect Atzaró with global luxury travellers who value direct relationships and authentic experiences,” says Brend Badenhorst, Founder of Cape Marketing Agency. “By combining strong keyword intent with precise geographic targeting, we successfully converted high-value clicks into confirmed bookings.” The results speak for themselves: Total Spend: R155,007 Total Turnover: R874,532 ROAS: 564% Net Return: R791,525 Atzaro Cape Town’s General Manager, Jordi Flaque, shared the following review on Google: “We couldn’t be happier with the results from Cape Marketing Agency! They really turned our sales around with professionalism, clarity, and smart strategy. The team was always responsive, transparent, and genuinely invested in our success. It’s rare to find a marketing agency that combines …
What You Should Know about Varicose Veins and How to Address Them
Varicose veins are more common than many people realise. Those twisted, bulging veins that appear on the legs affect millions of adults around the world. For some, they are just a cosmetic concern. For others, they cause real discomfort—aching, heaviness, swelling, and even skin changes. Understanding what causes varicose veins and what can be done about them helps people make informed decisions about their health. The good news is that modern medicine offers several effective options for dealing with this condition. What Causes Varicose Veins Veins carry blood back to the heart. In the legs, this means pushing blood upward against gravity. Small valves inside the veins open and close to keep blood flowing in the right direction. When these valves weaken or fail, blood can pool in the veins. This causes them to stretch, swell, and become visible under the skin. Several factors increase the risk of developing varicose veins. Age is one—valves wear out over time. Genetics plays a role too. If parents or grandparents had varicose veins, the chances of getting them go up. Standing or sitting for long periods puts extra pressure on leg veins. Pregnancy increases blood volume and puts added strain on the circulatory system. Carrying extra body weight adds to the load as well. Women are more likely to develop varicose veins than men. Hormonal changes during pregnancy, menstruation, and menopause can relax vein walls and affect valve function. Symptoms to Watch For Not everyone with varicose veins has symptoms. Some people notice the veins but feel nothing unusual. Others experience a range of uncomfortable signs. Common symptoms include aching or heavy legs, especially after standing for a long time. Some people feel burning, throbbing, or cramping in the lower legs. Swelling around the ankles is another sign. Itching around the affected veins can be annoying. In more advanced cases, the skin near …

Daybreak Awarded Over R100 Million in Fight Against Previous Attorneys
Johannesburg, 25 September 2024: On 30 July 2024, the Honourable Judge Nyathi, in the High Court of South Africa, Gauteng Division, Pretoria, handed down an award of over R 100 million in favour of Afgri Poultry (Pty) Ltd T/A Daybreak Farms ("Daybreak") against Malahlela & Co. Attorneys ("Malahlela"), a firm of attorneys. Malahlela had apparently been engaged by a predecessor Board of Daybreak to render legal services to Daybreak and had charged handsomely – and unlawfully – for the privilege. Daybreak – under new management – began investigating payment demands made by Malahlela, and, when faced by a claim to make payment, launched a counter-application seeking repayment of R 101 502 312.68, with interest thereon and punitive costs. Daybreak’s monetary claim was not lightly sought. It was the product of extensive consideration of the invoices provided by Malahlela, forensic investigations by forensic experts, and an assessment by Daybreak’s legal team. These processes confirmed that Malahlela had on multiple occasions invoiced Daybreak for impossible and improbable attendances, phantom and duplicated attendances, grossly inflated invoices, over-reaching and over-billing, and invoicing for inexplicable and unmandated attendances. Faced with a detailed analysis of the unlawful invoicing and billing practices (which analysis, with invoices, spanned hundreds of pages), Malahlela did not oppose Daybreak's application or file answering papers or attend at Court (despite emailing two days before the hearing to note the technical defences it intended to bring). Daybreak contends that the ineluctable conclusion to be reached is that Malahlela had no true defence to its claim. Ultimately, after considering the papers (including Malahlela's "defences"), Judge Nyathi upheld Daybreak's case in its entirety, awarding Daybreak the entire amount claimed, with interest and legal costs. This was a vindication of Daybreak's commitment to good corporate …

Reuseable bottles vs beverages packaged in plastic: Which comes out top?
One of the most enduring misconceptions about PET, the recyclable and food-grade plastic most often used for beverage bottles, is that it pollutes our environment. As a result, many are pushing consumers to switch to reusable/re-fillable bottles but few are asking the important question: Do reusable bottles trump beverages originally packed and sold in PET when it comes to their ‘green’ credentials?1 According to Charlotte Metcalf, CEO of the South African National Bottled Water Association (SANBWA) every single material used to manufacture reusable/re-fillable beverage bottles has an impact on the environment. This impact differs between each material be it plastic, aluminium, glass or stainless steel, or any other less well-known packaging materials which may be used for this function. “Current wisdom is that it should not be assumed that reusable bottles have a lower environmental impact than single-use bottles,” Metcalf said. “It may be true if only the carbon footprint is considered but the water footprint of the bottle during its life cycle is equally important. “Because of the very many variables that need to be considered when studying or calculating this impact, there are very few accurate life cycle studies. More critical research is required before the question can be answered reliably. “For example, the amount of water used over the reusable bottle’s lifetime to maintain its hygiene status can be considerable and the carbon savings negligible. For example, although glass is inert and can easily be reused, it takes a lot of energy to produce, transport and recycle. Further, glass breakage in the environment is dangerous and extremely difficult to remove. “Also clouding the issue is that reusable bottles do not last forever and their recycling rate contributes greatly to their environmental impact. While the recycling rate of aluminium cans is about 72%, the recycling rate of reusable bottles is unknown, and many probably get sent to …
