Burnstar Technologies Launches First Commercial Demonstration Unit

Johannesburg, 1 September 2025: BurnStar Technologies, the South African innovator behind Guilt-Free Hydrogen™, today announced the commissioning of its first commercial demonstration unit at Turnkey Modular. This milestone marks the transition of BurnStar’s patented Liquid Metal Reforming (LMR) process from pilot to scalable deployment, offering heavy industry a cost-competitive, zero-emission hydrogen alternative.

BurnStar’s pyrolysis-based process delivers hydrogen, while sequestering carbon in solid form for use in agriculture and manufacturing. Unlike electrolysis, the technology is not dependent on renewable energy availability, ensuring a consistent supply and operational resilience.
