Leading Paarl based craft beer producer, Cape Brewing Company (CBC) is the official craft brew sponsor of this year’s Soweto Fashion Week (SFW), which is currently under way at the Soweto Theatre in Soweto, Gauteng, until 28 May.
Debuting its involvement in one of Africa’s most respected fashion ‘movements’, CBC is proud to join SFW and support the continent’s up-and-coming fashion designers. CBC even curated a SFW tagline, B. Vibrant, in the wake of its new brand positioning, to highlight its commitment to creative entrepreneurs’ passion and career ambitions (CBC poster attached). During SFWs five-day 2018 Autumn Winter showcase, trendsetters, designers and fashion lovers alike will be served some of CBCs internationally recognised beers. Making their first Joburg ‘appearance’ are also the limited-edition Raspberry and Peach Weiss beers.
After having claimed the most golds of all participating breweries at the 2016 SA National Beer Trophy (SANBT) awards, CBC recently took its winning stride across borders to the annual World Beer Awards (WBA), in the UK, to receive another six awards.
The CBC range, including the Amber Weiss, Imperial Weiss, Lager and Pilsner, is available from major South African retailers and liquor stores. The flavoured beers can be purchased at the CBC brewery at the Spice Route Destination in Paarl.
