Fleming Gulf Conferences Announces Summit to Address Mine Security in Africa

Security officers, site and asset protection managers across the African mining industry will gather for the African Mine Security Summit on 8-9 April 2014, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
18th November 2013, Johannesburg: Crisis management and security remain key challenges to mining projects across Africa, with metal theft, corruption and illegal mining on the rise. In order to effectively mitigate threats to assets, sites and employees, mining companies need to constantly plan ahead and be aware of potential risks. Tracking, surveillance and intruder detection is imperative to ensure that mine sites are secured from thefts, illegal miners and other criminal activities.
