Experience a trio of transformation with Zumba, Pilates and a healing sound bath.
This Women’s Month, Black Rose Concepts is offering Cape Town women a reset of their body and nervous system all in one morning, with the city skyline as the backdrop.
Harmony in Motion is not just another fitness event. It is carefully structured to take you from high-energy movement into deep, restorative stillness.
Taking place on Saturday, 22 August on the 6th-floor rooftop of The Barracks Apartments on Bree Street, this 105-minute event is built around a trio of transformation: three connected experiences designed to be done in sequence, each led by a specialist Cape Town practitioner.
Zumba, led by Eureka Le Roux kicks off the morning with a vibrant session to shake of the week and wake up every muscle. This is about joy, not perfection.
Pilates (Lara Teixeira) follows, shifting into a session that builds core strength, improves alignment and lengthens the spine. This is where we find our centre.
A 45-minute sound bath experience by Celia Yu closes the journey. Guests lie down and surrender as the resonant frequencies of singing bowls, chimes and percussion wash over them, releasing tension and settling the nervous system. Like a reset button for the entire being.
This is the ultimate self-care gift that you didn’t even know you needed.
The experience is open to women of all ages and fitness levels. No experience needed. Just an open mind and willingness to receive.
“We wanted to create something that isn’t a workout and isn’t a spa day — it’s a full reset,” says Bongi Mosele-Magampa, owner of Black Rose Concepts. “You arrive carrying the whole week and you leave lighter, grounded and reconnected to yourself. That’s the gift.”
