Smile 90.4FM line up changes

September will see the start of a new season at Smile 90.4FM. A number of fresh voices will be making an appearance on the station and a few established ones will be moving to new time slots.

Bailey Schneider takes over the 9am to 12pm show Monday to Friday. Bailey, a firm favourite with our Smiley’s, gets to bring her sunny personality and refined voice to the workday. Listeners can expect from her the best mix of songs for the office, entertaining guests and loads of interaction.

Stand-up comedian and award winning writer Angel Campey joins Maurice Carpede on Smile Drive. Angel’s energy and cheeky wit will most certainly keep veteran drive-time anchor Maurice Carpede on his toes. This combo is sure to make the happiest noise on radio in Cape Town.

The weekday line-up will be as follows from 3 September:

5am – 6am: JM Henning
6am – 9am: Smile Breakfast with Bobby Brown and Lindy Hibbard
9am – 12pm: Bailey Schneider
12pm – 3pm: Ewan Strydom
3pm – 6pm: Smile Drive with Maurice Carpede and Angel Campey
6pm – 8pm: All 80s Show with Sam Roy
8pm – 10pm: The Honest Truth with Benito Vergotine
10pm – 11pm: Dean Friederich

Weekends also gets a presenter make-over with a number of new voices that made it through the ‘Smile 90.4FM Mouth from the South Talent Search’ securing time slots.

7 – 10am: JM Henning & Kia Johnson
10 – 2pm: Andre De Vos
2 – 6pm: Wesley Gabriels
6 – 9pm: Gavin Arends
9 – 11pm: CT Classics with Kia Johnson

Sunday:

8 – 10am: Smile Inspires with the Big Positive Guy Andre Du Toit
10 – 2pm: Ziaan Siems
2 – 6pm: Wesley Gabriels
6 – 9pm: Marilize Du Plessis
9 – 11pm: Dean Friederich
