Stellenbosch Gears up for the Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience This Coming Weekend!

The City of Oaks will be buzzing with excitement this coming Saturday and Sunday (16 and 17 November 2024) when adventure seekers of all ages enjoy the best mountain biking routes on offer at SA’s MTB Party of the Year, the Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience, fueled by Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages.

A longtime partner of the Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience, event organisers are excited to welcome Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages as the presenting sponsor of SA’s MTB Party of the Year for 2024.

In addition to supplying products for all water points on both Day 1 and Day 2, Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages will bring the vibe to Water Point 1 each day. Every entrant will receive a refreshing Coca Cola product in their Race Pack, and Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages will also ensure riders stay well-hydrated during lunch. Plus, two fantastic prize hampers will be up for grabs during Sunday’s prize giving!

Dress Up Day: Don’t forget—Sunday, 17 November 2024 (Stage 2), is Dress-Up Day! To celebrate Savanna being named the No. 1 cider in the world for 2024, come dressed in your best proudly South African outfit, with yellow as the standout color. Up for grabs is R10,000 each for the best-dressed male and female rider, plus 10 cases of Savanna each!

Important: Riders must complete the stage in the same outfit they start in to be eligible. A judging team will shortlist the top 3 male and female contenders, who will then be called to the stage during prize giving. The final winners will be chosen by fellow riders, so make sure to be present at prize giving!

Charity Support: The Savanna Origin of Trails proudly supports the Stellenbosch Trail Fund (STF), a registered non-profit organisation (NPO) entirely funded by donations from local trail users and corporate sponsors. Since 2011, STF’s aim has been to create, improve and maintain hiking, biking and running trails in and around the Greater Stellenbosch
