On its tenth anniversary, The IIE’s Varsity College Waterfall commenced an expansion that will see the campus almost triple in size over the next two years.
Campus Head David McConnell shared some of the features students can look forward to: “In addition to the expansion of our lecturing facilities, the overall campus experience will be enhanced through the addition of landscaped green linking spaces and security is also being carefully considered through the implementation of a state-of-the-art biometric security system”.
The lecture room capacity will increase by a third in phase one, and the second phase, due for completion in 2023, will include the expansion of the campus Information Centre, relocation and expansion of the campus eatery, operated by Olive & Plates, and the creation of additional student spaces, such as venues for group collaboration or study.
The first phase of the expansion is currently underway and will be in place for the students to enjoy for the first semester in 2022.
