Bring the coffee shop home with Society Cappuccinos

You are here: Home / Consumer Products / Bring the coffee shop home with Society Cappuccinos

(MyPR.co.za) February 2, 2021 By //  by Guest PR Filed Under: Consumer Products Edit This Article

The arrival of 2021 brought with it new hope following a challenging past year. The promise of a vaccine rollout and taste of a return to some sort of normalcy saw the New Year welcomed with open arms. However, this euphoria is being threatened by a second wave of infections and harder lockdown measures. To keep those spirits elevated, Society Cappuccino is encouraging South Africans to ‘bring the coffee shop home’ by connecting with friends – virtually – while enjoying a premium Society instant Cappuccino.

“It’s been interesting to note that, for many people, it’s the daily routine activities that they have missed most during the pandemic,” explained Society’s COO, Natalie White. “Activities like simply popping out to meet friends at a coffee shop, ordering a quality-made cuppa and catching up. That human connection can become such a fundamental part of our happiness, and it’s important to not let go of that.”

A statement issued by the United Nations outlines the recommendation from UNICEF that it’s important to create a flexible but consistent daily routine. It reads: “COVID-19 has taken away our daily work, home and school routines. This is hard for children, teenagers and for you. Making new routines can help.”

“We want to encourage people to create positive new routines and memories within the limits of the current restrictions” continued Natalie. “One way to do this is to set up a regular ‘coffee shop catch-up’ with friends or loved ones via any form of preferred video chat, and enjoy a catch-up over a cup of Society Cappuccino.”

Society Cappuccino fans have shared tips for connecting and creating positive routines at home:

“Contrary to popular belief, I’m actually NOT a homebody. I prefer being out and having experiences, so with the lockdown, that’s been near impossible. The good thing that came out of this though is that, we get to be together. We made a deal that even though we’re both still working from home, we take our breaks together. Depending on the weather, you’ll find us lunching on the balcony and now we’ve added @oursocietycoffee instant Cappuccino to our lunch favourites. So far, the vanilla flavour is winning in this house ?”

“My wife and I usually start our day with a cup of coffee, just before we go to work. We enjoy coffee because it gives us that extra energy. I always look forward to our morning chats whilst having our favourite instant cappuccino and preparing to go to work…it’s like a mini coffee date at home ??”

tamryn.seopela
“Kopano and I have always ‘dreamt’ of having ‘coffee dates’ during the week every once in a while, but our offices were never close enough to even try. Luckily, lockdown gave us the perfect opportunity to do this at home since both of us are still working from home. So, whenever both of us have a gap at the same time, we try to take the opportunity to have our coffee dates. Since one of Kopano’s love languages are ‘Acts of Service’ and mine is ‘Quality Time’, we try our best to bring the whole experience into our home. The perks of working from home ? We tried out the delicious range of cappuccinos by @oursocietycoffee for today’s date. They’re made from 100% Arabica coffee beans and come in 5 flavours: Vanilla, Caramel Toffee, Hazelnut, Sweetened & Unsweetened. Our personal faves are Caramel Toffee and Hazelnut ?”

“Monday afternoon used to be coffee conversations moments, but now that’s a thing of a past. Sitting next to a window and reminiscing about all the good moments we once had over coffee conversations. @oursocietycoffee have the best cappuccino sachets in the business and you can continue to have your coffee conversations at the comfort of your home with so much richness.”

Because Society Cappuccinos are made from 100% Arabica Coffee beans, coffee-lovers can enjoy that truly authentic ‘coffee shop experience’ wherever they are. The Society Cappuccino perfectly blends that aromatic coffee taste with the indulgence of a cappuccino in a round, smooth flavour. This locally-produced beverage has been thoroughly tested by Joekels’ Master Blender, Jonathan Kelsey, whose tastebuds are famously insured for R5 million.

Society Cappuccinos are available in classic Sweetened or Unsweetened, as well as flavoured options; Vanilla, Hazelnut or Caramel Toffee. They can be found in Pick n Pay Hypers, as well as selected Pick n Pay Supers and Spars, with a recent launch at Shoprite and Checkers KZN stores. For online shoppers, or those wanting more information, Society Cappuccino can be found at www.joekels.co.za or on Takealot.
