Parable Fifteen’s new “Though the Storm” album is a more mainstream, radio-ready project than their debut album “Stories”. The sound and focus are tighter for the “Trust me” hitmakers.
But their signature sound isn’t sanded away by the effort. The singles, “Helluva Ride”, and “Hello Someday” are two easy-to-digest country-rock songs that speak to the majority in an way that’s unique.
Singer and Songwriter “Marc Skarda” proves he’s a sturdy Country Rock vocalist across the breadth of this project.
With the addition of a seasoned rhythm section made up of Mali Sewell and Jason Andrew, While the album overall, polished and fresh, but themes of young love and heartache are dominant, bringing familiarity. It’s forever enlightening how the gifted Brothers are able to write about their own struggles in their lives and transform it into something so positive and uplifting. What “Blueprint” does is magnify the honesty that fans love .while simultaneously breathing new life into their career, making for a special project only a group of experimental, yet focused individuals as Parable Fifteen can achieve.
