Eaton at Africa Utility Week

Johannesburg, South Africa; Power Management Company, Eaton, is this year’s Silver Sponsor for African Utility Week 2017, taking place from 16-18 May 2017 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, Cape Town, South Africa.

Investing in the industry by participating in crucial conversation is a key priority for Eaton and with that view in mind, Eaton will host, The CEO Forum in collaboration with Africa’s leading power and water utility executives to discuss Africa’s energy challenges, reliable renewable energy sources and energy storage as a viable solution to providing access to electricity to underserved communities on the continent.

In line with this continued focus, Sumaya Abdool, Head of Marketing for Africa at Eaton, is honoured to present an award to the Most Outstanding Women of the Year in Power or Water at the fourth edition of the Africa Utility Week Industry Awards, taking place on the 17 May 2017.

The third dimension to Eaton’s sponsorship agreement for Africa Utility week is a guided site visit on Friday, 19 May 2017 hosted by Marcel Buckner, ESS Business Development Manager for Africa at Eaton. Key customers will be treated to a tour of the Netcare Christiaan Barnard Memorial Hospital in Cape Town to gain practical insights and to experience a first-hand view of Eaton‘s innovative solutions.
