Glory House Officially Launches on 12 June 2022 in Midrand, Johannesburg

Johannesburg, 10 June 2022: With humility, hope and joy, Bishop MZILIKAZI THEMBA KHUMALO, Senior Pastor, Founder and , Overseer of Glory House is pleased to announce that the Glory House  will officially launch on 12 June 2022.

Supported by fervent prayers, faithful discernment, and a sure hope for the future, the Glory House  is a Holy Spirit inspired movement committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ who worship passionately, love extravagantly, and witness boldly to the ends of the earth.

The Bishop and the Glory House Board have worked together for over three years to lay the groundwork for a new, theological denomination steeped in the great ecumenical and evangelical confessions of the Christian faith. They envision a church fired by a warm-hearted expression of  faith that is dedicated to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in word and deed.

“The Glory House  will warmly welcome people eager to join others in fulfilling its mission,” said Bishop MZILIKAZI THEMBA KHUMALO, Senior Pastor, Founder and , Overseer of Glory House. “We have heard the truth of Jesus Christ, experienced the forgiveness of his grace and love, and so bear witness to his transforming power. We long to take our place alongside brothers and sisters in the church universal who seek to live out their faith everyday so that others might come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.”

We believe it is God’s will that His people must have dominion on earth, display His splendour and demonstrate the fullness of His glory. We believe that it is God’s will that every level of society, every aspect of human operation upon the earth and every situation humankind faces, must be led by men and women who carry unashamedly and demonstrate unfearfully the fullness of His glory and power. This house, Glory House, is established to lead God’s people into the fullness of their individual glory in Christ Jesus and to equip them with the spiritual tools to lead a God-inspired life and leave a demonstrable legacy of His glory.

“As we embark on this great venture, we know we will stumble and fall at times,” said Khumalo. “But with the great prophet Isaiah, we also firmly believe we will, in God’s good time, ‘run and not be weary,’ and ‘walk [in the way of the Lord] and not faint!’”

Glory House believes there is a God ordained purpose in every single person upon the earth.  Once a person receives Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, Christ dwells in them immediately and permanently, regardless of the earthly condition of their life.

We believe that once Christ dwells in a believer, the fullness of the glory of God is within them. Our assignment, which we accept with sandals-off humility before God, is to lead non- believers to Christ and once Christ dwells in them, to lead them into the fullness of the glory of God that dwells within them in Christ Jesus.

Bishop Khumalo came to the pulpit the long way. Born in iniquity. Living in transgression. Saved by the immeasurable mercy of God. Sustained by the corrective grace of God.

A lawyer by training, one of the most creatively proven, commercially successful, sector- versatile, and professionally celebrated chief marketing officers in Africa, he forsook all for the sake of the Gospel. But all the earthly accomplishments and spiritual equipping – I lay all of it down and empty myself of all of it that Christ Himself who dwells in me may reveal Himself to me and in me, that He Himself may guide my footsteps and that the fullness of His glory in Christ Jesus may be revealed in the lives of the saints in Glory House.

He is driven by his calling to lift up every individual and every family that is given to Glory House, that Christ may be revealed in them, that they may experience the fullness of God’s love, receive the fullness of His provision and providence, that the same power that raised Christ from the dead may manifest its full glory in their lives. He prays glorious testimonies of the goodness of God, testimonies that overcome the enemy and magnify the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ in action.
