Let’s get down to it, the Old Fashioned is a little more than just a slug of whisky, seasoned and sweetened. Yet, for all its suave simplicity, this classic drink remains as relevant today as it was more than 200 years ago.

Old-fashioned

Ingredients:

– 60ml Woodford Reserve Distillers Select
– 3 – 4 dashes ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters
– 1 teaspoon sugar or sugar cube
– Orange peel
– Ice

Method:

Add sugar and bitters into a rocks glass and stir until the sugar is nearly dissolved. Fill the glass with ice, add the bourbon, and gently stir to combine. Express the oil of an orange peel over the glass, then drop into the glass to garnish.
