One of New Zealand’s most respected rugby journalists, Jamie Wall, returns to Cape Talk’s The Business of Entertainment with Martin Myers on Thursday, 6 August, at 9pm  as South Africa and New Zealand prepare to renew what many regard as the greatest rivalry in world rugby.

Wall who  is travelling with the All Blacks as part of the  New Zealand media contingent covering The Greatest Rivalry Tour, the latest chapter in one of international sport’s most iconic contests between the Springboks and the All Blacks.

This marks Wall’s second appearance on the show, having first joined Martin Myers in September 2024 ahead of the unforgettable Test match in Cape Town, where the Springboks defeated the All Blacks 18-12 in front of a capacity crowd at DHL Stadium.

With The Greatest Rivalry Tour starting on Friday , Myers and Wall will discuss the significance of the tour, the storylines emerging from the All Blacks camp, the opening weekend of action, including Friday night’s DHL Stormers fixture, and why the rivalry between South Africa and New Zealand continues to captivate rugby fans across the globe.

Jamie Wall has established himself as one of New Zealand’s leading rugby voices.

 Based in Auckland, he has covered rugby and rugby league for more than a decade and has travelled internationally with the All Blacks since 2017.

 His career includes reporting from the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan, becoming a respected television sports pundit, and publishing four rugby books, including the bestselling Brothers in Black.

Known for his insightful analysis and balanced perspective, Wall brings a unique New Zealand perspective to one of rugby’s greatest contests, offering listeners an insider’s view from within the travelling All Blacks media contingent.

Don’t miss this special edition of The Business of Entertainment with Martin Myers, airing on CapeTalk on Thursday, 6 August, from 9:00 pm to 9:30 pm, with a rebroadcast on Sunday at 9:00 pm.
