Following the exciting announcement of Gert-Johan Coetzee’s limited edition capsule collection with Disney in December 2024, the acclaimed designer is currently captivating fans with a stunning photoshoot showcasing this magical collection.
Stepping into a realm of enchantment, the electrifying photoshoot unfolded in the windows of an art gallery nestled in Hyde Park Corner. The installation was a visual feast, where models transformed into dreamlike figures, rocking pieces from the striking creative collection. Each garment radiated the whimsical charm that Disney is celebrated for, seamlessly blending fantasy with new age pizzaz.
The gallery’s striking artwork served as a breathtaking backdrop, amplifying the magical atmosphere as the models struck poses capturing the essence of some of the much-loved Disney characters. With every click of the camera, they embodied the beloved Disney characters, infusing the air with a sense of wonder and nostalgia.
The playful colours, intricate designs and bold silhouettes of the collection danced in harmony with the gallery’s vibrant energy, creating a spellbinding experience that left onlookers mesmerized. This photoshoot wasn’t just a showcase; it was a celebration of creativity, inviting everyone to step into a world where style met imagination, and dreams came alive.
The collection is available to shop online and will also be at Preview stores in Sandton City and key pieces of the collection at Menlyn Mall, starting February 2025.
