The Ekasi Tech Fest Esports Tournament Counter Strike Global Offensive (CS: GO) 2019 Invitational sponsored by AOC South Africa, will have a prize money of R10 000 and featuring some of the country four top CS: GO sides, Ekasi Esports, Bravado Gaming, White Rabbing Gaming and Omnius Gaming, competing for the main prize of R 10 000.
The Ekasi Tech Fest Esports Tournament will be hosted at Soweto Theatre, from the 28th – 29th June 2019. The inaugural tournament will also feature popular esports titles on the agenda such as FIFA 19, Tekken 7, Street Fighter V, as well as prize giveaways, arcade corners, experience room and more gaming.
The Ekasi Tech Festival hosted a successful CS: GO exhibition match in 2018, between Ekasi Esports and Goliath Gaming, which was won by Goliath Gaming and 2018 event, also saw the crowning of the first Gauteng Gaming Community Cup Champions in Tekken 7 & FIFA 18 titles.
The Tickets for the Ekasi Tech Fest Esports Tournament ranges from R 80.00 for day pass, R 150.00 for 2-day pass and R 250.00 for the FFA 19, Tekken 7 and Street Fighter V tournaments participation.
