The Interconnectivity Report reviewed the digital infrastructure requirements of Africa and proposed building next-generation, future-ready infrastructure – Digital Super Information Gateway – that facilitates connectivity, e-governance, and performance within Africa.
Commenting on the report, Harkirit Singh, Head of Smart Africa initiatives, Tata Communications Transformation Services, said, “The Interconnectivity Report, in partnership with Smart Africa Alliance and Republic of Guinea, will serve as a platform to collate, calibrate and integrate information that will enable Africa in its journey to build an integrated digital economy for the continent. The report acts as a blueprint for communities across the length and breadth of Africa to take advantage of the key pillars of knowledge, information and connectivity that have been clearly articulated in ‘The Smart Africa Manifesto’.”
