Johannesburg, South Africa, July 2015 – Described as a the premier gambling forum for legalised industry leaders and start-ups in South Africa and the African continent, the inaugural Gambling Indaba Conference and Expo is set to raise the bar towards the improvement of the industry by taking the gamble out of gambling.
The three-day session, to be held in Cape Town South Africa from 22 to 24 November 2015, will combine an unrivaled conference and expo that will provide delegates with information, ideas, experiences and solutions that will enable the growth of this sector across African borders.
‘The gambling industry is one that continues to be clouded by a lot of controversy and uncertainty. Through the launch of the Gambling Indaba Conference and Expo we aim to provide all industry players with an engagement platform on how we can improve the industry, create longevity and expand the sector across the African continent – all governed by the necessary regulations and laws,’ explains Percy Kwinda, Gambling Indaba Founder and CEO. ‘We are excited by this initiative and believe that it will equip delegates with the much needed expertise on how to tap into different markets, explore new possibilities and sustain the industry.’
The conference will boast an impressive array of speakers such as from Professor Alfred Nevhutanda Chairperson of the South African National Lotteries Board and CEO of the Tanzanian Gambling Board, Tarimba Abbas – who will share insights, best practices and forecasts on the gambling business. Trade delegates from across the globe are also encouraged to attend, as they will be afforded with an opportunity to gain in-depth understanding of industry investment and business opportunities on the African continent.
The benefits of this initiative are vast for both industry players and consumers. The conference will expose operators to new possibilities on how to expand and sustain the industry.
