Synopsis
Your life is unto itself, the spotlight of Godliness, courage, possibilities, tenacity and defying the odds.
This book seeks to remind you of the strengths you possess in your moments of weakness when you feel you are out of the game. The possibilities still lie within you. Only you hold the key to dim your own spotlight.
Only you can voluntarily become your worst enemy, the only person standing in your way.
Many times we are so quick to shift the blame when things are not going well and yet forget to scrutinize our own contributions. Unfortunately, the moment we start to see others as our stumbling blocks, in many cases, they are, we tend to focus on why they ‘do’ that to us and less on what we should be doing in that moment, to move ahead.
We cannot control how other people choose to treat us, but we can surely choose to move ahead and focus on what’s important to us.
In our moments of doubt, we need to learn to intensify on our level of Faith and remember that God has our best interest at heart.
Whatever happens, you still remain in charge of your life and no matter how and when others stop believing in you, you have to keep believing in yourself. Study your actions and reactions not for further self-condemnation but to learn from your best; refine it and move on!
In our quest to support others, to align ourselves with those we will up to, we need to state our requirements upfront to avoid working ourselves to the bone in the hope that they will give us an opportunity.
You cannot become a contributor in your own life, you have to be the role player who inspires your next try. With so many case studies, best practise and benchmarks around us, I see no need to give up too soon. A lot of companies in various industries provide a lot of case studies that can help you avoid certain pitfalls especially when you get into business. Investing in a good book that will guide you each step of the way is a start.
We live in a culture where people don’t like to empower others, but with a two-dimensional mindset, you learn to cease the moment than go around blaming people for not willing to assist you. Use their rejection as a stepping stone to learn and in turn share with the deserving.
Gone are the days where blaming others was in fashion, we go with those who help us and we outgrow those who refuse. Never spend too much trying to understand why they turned you down, rather focus on ways to step forward and move on.
Be wise. Be sharp and refine your skills as you go and grow
