Over the last year there has been a lot of talk about responsive compliance in website design, however we have found that many of our Port Elizabeth and South African clients don’t understand this feature.
A responsive website is one that performs on all devices it is used. Eg: Smartphones, tablets and computers. Websites that are older are many times not responsive, meaning that if you open it on a smartphone for example, it will not display fully and you would have to zoom in to use the website.
Although you might think this is not a big deal, Google does. Earlier in the year, Google announced that responsive websites will be indexed above non responsive ones.
Getting your website responsive is an extra expense and hassle, but it is unfortunately something you cannot get around.
