Well-known radio personality and DJ Jacques Arendt has been appointed brand ambassador for the 2015 Absa Kirkwood Wildsfees.
He will also help promote the annual wildlife auction, which forms part of the annual festival that attracts over 50 000 people to the Sundays River Valley.
“This year for the first time the festival will have its own bomas, and Jacques will be helping us to market them as the venue for other auctions during the year.
“We look forward to working with Jacques as our ambassador,” says Absa Kirkwood Wildsfees director Jenni Honsbein.
“I know the Sundays River area well and have many friends in the area, and have been involved in the Wildsfees for years. It is a privilege to be the ambassador for 2015,” says Arendt.
He will be representing the Absa Kirkwood Wildsfees at trade shows, farmers days and auctions.
The 2015 Absa Kirkwood Wildsfees will be held from Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28.
