Save on must-buy big TV screens this Black November

You are here: Home / Consumer Products / Save on must-buy big TV screens this Black November

(MyPR.co.za) November 17, 2021 By //  by Guest PR Filed Under: Consumer Products Edit This Article

When it comes to watching sports and movies on a big screen, bigger is usually better. But there’s more to it than that. The latest TVs on the market have a lot to offer than just more pixels. Display technologies have improved drastically in recent years, so if you want to invest in your home entertainment setup, it’s certainly worth having a look at the latest tech in television. And with LG Electronics turning Black Friday into Black November this year, consumers have a whole month of incredible savings to look forward to. With their cutting-edge displays on sale, now could be the perfect time to upgrade your living room into the ultimate home cinema.

LG has announced that they will be offering their latest 86” NANO86 TV for R32 999, which translates to a massive R7000 saving. Their 75″ NANO75 will be on sale for R24 999, a discount of R3000. Their smaller 65” and 55” NanoCell TVs will be retailing at R14 999 and R11 999, with savings of R3000 and R2000 respectively. But you might be asking, “What exactly is NanoCell and what makes it any different from other TV tech?” Let’s dive into it.

Nano-engineered television

On top of this, Full HD TVs are not available in the size that LG’s NanoCells come in, so NanoCell comes out on top when it comes to size as well as detail.

NanoCell TVs come standard in stunning 4K and 8K resolution, but what makes them truly unique is the use of millions of nanoparticles that filter and refine colour impurities, resulting in purer, more vivid, and ultra-realistic picture quality and colour accuracy. Every pixel is also placed precisely one nanometre (or 0.000001 millimetres) apart from each other, resulting in a much sharper image, even when viewed from wider angles.

NanoCell technology essentially takes the 4K and 8K experience to a completely new level. Sports or movies are no longer dull and muddy, darker scenes are truly dark with less backlight bleeding, and colours are bright and pure from every viewing angle.

Made for big screen cinema

LG’s on-sale NanoCell TVs are not only big screens with impressive hardware; the software inside these TVs makes movie experiences more immersive. LG’s 86NANO75 NanoCell TVs come with Dolby Vision IQ which intelligently optimises picture quality based on what you’re watching, and makes adjustments based on the ambient lighting conditions of your living room using built-in light sensors.

Furthermore, LG’s 86” NANO75 model also comes with Dolby Atmos. This revolutionary sound format goes beyond conventional surround sound to add a height dimension and deliver truly multi-dimensional sound. Additionally, Dolby Atmos can recognise up to 118 unique sound objects and place them much more precisely within the soundscape of your living room. This gives an unparalleled clarity and depth to listening experiences because every individual sound, such as a voice, instrument, or sound effect, is vivid and distinguishable.

All of LG’s NanoCell TVs have their very own intelligent software, AI Picture Pro and AI Sound, that further improves picture and sound quality. And with LG’s Filmmaker Mode, movie lovers can experience films in a way that preserves the original aspect ratios, colours, and frame rates according to the director’s original vision. Or, if you’re watching 2K content but want the 4K experience, LG’s NanoCell TVs enhance 2K content by upscaling detail, definition, and colour to stunning 4K automatically.

For the sports enthusiasts

Sports were made to be watched on the big screen, and with a NanoCell TV’s Bluetooth Surround Sound, you can almost recreate the full stadium atmosphere at home. NanoCell’s wide viewing angles make them perfect for bringing people over for big sporting events, and the TV also comes with a Sports Alert feature, allowing you to set alerts for your favourite teams. That way you can ensure you stay up-to-date with all the latest news and never miss any of the action.

Your chance to save

If you’re looking at upgrading your home cinema with a NanoCell TV so you can have a big screen experience when watching sports or movies, don’t miss LG’s Black November promotion that’s on from 1 November. Black November only comes once a year, and if you’re still stuck with an old HD television, NanoCell can certainly be a sight for sore eyes.
