Snors for a Cause Motorcade 2014 partners with More Balls Than Most.

Local initiative, Snors for a Cause Motorcade 2014, aimed at raising awareness and funds for men’s health and cancer, is proud to announce its’ 2014 partner and donation beneficiary, More Balls Than Most. Brother of PinkDrive, More Balls Than Most, is dedicated to promoting awareness of the importance of early detection of prostate and testicular cancer.

Snors for a Cause Motorcade 2014 together with More Balls Than Most, is inviting all South Africans riding on 2 or 3 wheels to unite, change the face of men’s health and make a difference in support of men’s health.

All motorcycle riders – Harley’s®, pit bikes, superbikes, cruisers, trikes, scooters and pillions are encouraged to join the parades taking place in ten regions nationally on the same day, Saturday 1 November 2014. This charitable ride is set to be a first in South Africa.

According to the Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA), prostate cancer is the most common cancer in South African men with a 1 in 26 lifetime risk to develop it. The number of prostate cancer cases is also steadily increasing because of longer lifespan and a more westernised lifestyle. Testicular cancer on the other hand is one of the most common cancers in young men aged between 15 and 39.

“With Snors for a Cause Motorcade 2014 we are encouraging awareness and urging family, friends, colleagues and associates to get tested early. In the past two decades most men have survived prostate cancer and a continual diagnosis and early treatment can have an even bigger impact,” comments Trisch Rosema, More Balls Than Most.

Anyone can join the Snors for a Cause Motorcade and there is no registration fee. Participants who want to make a donation towards the cause can purchase a limited edition Snors for a Cause buff for R130 on Harley-Davidson® Africa’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/HarleyDavidsonAfrica. A limited number of Snors for a Cause pins will be made available to participating riders.

“We are grateful to have the support of Harley-Davidson® Africa who have committed to a minimum donation of R50 000 for the fight against cancer in men. This donation will be used for much needed education. The more awareness we can create together and the more funds raised, we can tackle the testicular and prostate cancer issue head on and prevent Cancer,” says Trisch Rosema, More Balls Than Most.
