Roadworks continue in Port Elizabeth
November 18, 2015 – THE South African National Roads Agency Ltd (SANRAL) would like to advise motorists of traffic disruptions taking place this week within Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality in the Eastern Cape.
Patching of the road surface is being done on the Bramlin interchange cross road.
Patching of the road surface will be done on the Settlers interchange. Work will start on Thursday (19 November) and is expected to be completed on Saturday (21 November).
The Stanford undercuts closure will be ongoing on the East bound. Single lane traffic will be implemented between William Moffett and Stanford interchanges.
Slurry work will continue on the West bound direction (towards PE) between Neptune interchange and Bluewater Bay interchange.
Slurry work will be done on the East bound direction (towards Grahamstown) between Neptune interchange and Bluewater Bay interchange. Work will start today, (Wednesday, 18 November) and is expected to end on Friday (20 November).
Motorist are advised to travel with caution and to plan their trips in advance or take alternative routes.
